Recently in Hanoi, there was a memorandum of understanding (MoU) signing ceremony between PV GAS and EVN regarding the cooperation between the two in the distribution of LNG from Vung Ang LNG terminal to Quang Trach II LNG power plant.

On September 6, 2024, at Trang Bom Railway Station, Quang Tien Commune, Trang Bom District, Dong Nai Province, Petrovietnam Gas Corporation (PV GAS) held a ceremony to launch the first train carrying LNG from the South to the North
 

On August 22, 2024, Forbes Vietnam hosted the annual Business Forum 2024 with the theme "Ahead of the Game". Within the "Top 50 Best Listed Companies in Vietnam 2024", Petrovietnam Gas Corporation (PV GAS) has been upholding this prestigious title for twelve consecutive years.

PV GAS is expecting unprecedented difficulties and challenges in the coming period after surpassing the earlier target set by Petrovietnam. President and CEO Pham Van Phong has emphasized maintaining the Corporation’s pioneering and leading position in the gas industry as part of the nation's Green Energy Journey. 

The President and CEO of the Vietnam Oil and Gas Group (Petrovietnam),  Le Ngoc Son, and his delegation recently had a working session with Petrovietnam Gas Corporation (PV GAS) to review the performance of 2024’s H1, discuss tasks for the second halfand outline development directions for the future.

On June 24, 2024, in Hanoi, the Investment Newspaper and Vietnam Business Research Joint Stock Company (Viet Research) announced the Top 50 and Top 10 Innovative, Creative, and Efficient Enterprises of 2024 (VIE50 and VIE10 respectively), as well as the Top 100 Innovative, Creative, and Efficient Products and Services of 2024 (POY). Notably, Petrovietnam Gas Corporation (PV GAS) was honored in the VIE50 and ranked second in the VIE10 within the Oil and Gas – Energy – Electricity sector, just behind its parent company, Vietnam Oil and Gas Group (Petrovietnam).

On June 18, 2024, Fortune magazine, for the first time, released the ranking of Southeast Asia Top 500 largest companies in 2024 - the Southeast Asia 500, based on their 2023 annual income. Petrovietnam Gas Joint Stock Corporation (PV GAS) has had the honor of being among 70 Vietnam enterprises that have a place in the list.
