Recently, Petrovietnam Gas Corporation (PV GAS) and the Vietnam Coast Guard organized a conference to conclude a coordination agreement regarding the security and safety for offshore gas pipeline systems in the upcoming period.

On December 25, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ba Ria – Vung Tau held its 2024 year-end conference to award Certificates of Merit to 193 collectives and individuals for their outstanding contributions to the province. Among the honorees was the Petrovietnam Gas Corporation (PV GAS).

It is projected that PV GAS will exceed its production and business targets for 2024 with numerous records and historic milestones. These achievements affirms the Corporation has once again been able to navigate challenges, including a greater-than-expected decline in domestic supply and demand for gas in power generation, fierce competition from alternative energy sources, and an incomplete regulatory framework for the gas/LNG sector.

On December 22, 2024, "PV GAS - Green energy journey" Marathon was organized by Petrovietnam Gas Corporation (PV GAS), marking the beginning of a series of lively sports activities in both Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City. The marathon was part to celebrate PV GAS' achievements in 2024.
 

On December 9, 2024, at the headquarters of the Petro Vietnam Gas Corporation (PV GAS) in Ho Chi Minh City, PV GAS coordinated with the Vietnam ASEAN Hydrogen Club (VAHC) and Pure Hydrogen Company to organize a workshop with the theme " Vietnam Australia Hydrogen Workshop - H2 Mobility & Decentralised System". The content of the workshop focused on the development of hydrogen for mobility and decentralized hydrogen production and supply systems. The workshop also opened up cooperation opportunities between Vietnamese and Australian enterprises, including PV GAS and other subsidiaries of the Petro Vietnam Oil and Gas Group (Petrovietnam).

On December 3, 2024, Hai Phong City Police, in collaboration with PV GAS HAI PHONG conducted a city-level firefighter drill at Dinh Vu LPG Terminal, located in the Dinh Vu Industrial Zone, Hai An District, Hai Phong.
 

At the 17th Vietnam Listed Company Awards (VLCA) Ceremony, CNG Viet Nam Joint Stock Company (PV GAS CNG) was honored among the Top 44 listed enterprises excelling in transparency and received the award for Top 20 enterprises with the best annual reports in the non-financial sector. The company ranked 3rd out of 500 companies registered for this category.
