Following the instruction of Vietnam Oil and Gas Group’s Party Committee and implementing the 2020 working program of Petrovietnam Gas Joint Stock Corporation’s Party Committee, the latter on January 13, 2021 organized a conference to review the Party's works in 2020 and to deploy working instruction and tasks in 2021.  

At the office of Ba Ria-Vung Tau Province Party Committee, its senior leaders and ones of the provincial People's Committee on January 8 met the leaders of Petrovietnam Gas Joint Stock Corporation (PV GAS) to support and resolve difficulties for the latter in the implementation process of projects in the province.  

After New Year holidays, Petrovietnam Gas Joint Stock Corporation (PV GAS)’s all staff on January 4 in 2021 began the first working day of new year with high determined spirit. At PV GAS Tower in HCM City, a ceremony to launch business and production plan in 2021 was held.

Basing on working requirements and cadre affairs, and the approval of Vietnam Oil and Gas Group (Petrovietnam or PVN), Petrovietnam Gas Joint Stock Corporation (PV GAS) decided to appoint Vice General Director and three cadres of Professional Boards under the Corporation’s Executive Committee. On January 4, 2021, PV GAS organised an Announcement and Handover Ceremony of the appointment for these cadres.

In the whole country’s preparation to welcome a new spring, on December 30, 2020, Petrovietnam Gas Joint Stock Corporation (PV GAS) cooperated with Authority and People of Son La Province’s Mai Son District to organize a ceremony to hand over and put semi-boarding facility into use at Phieng Pan Ethnic Minorities Semi-boarding Primary and Secondary School in Mai Son District in the northwestern province of Son La.

With the spirit of "Solidarity - Innovation - Professionalism - Action", determination of fulfilling tasks, targets and plans of 2021 and implementation of Corporate Culture, PV GAS Trade Union Executive Board, Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union and Veterans Association have launched emulation movement for 2021 with main contents as below:

The peak of dry season and upcoming Tet holidays often pose risks of unsafety, insecurity and fires. To prevent fires and explosion incidents and to ensure security - safety for production and business, construction and investment, works, offices, material warehouses, LPG and CNG transport vehicles at its units, Petrovietnam Gas Joint Stock Corporation (PV GAS) has urgently instructed to strengthen security - safety - fire prevention and fighting during the New Year, Lunar Tet and dry season in 2021.

The contest of "Productivity and Quality Improvement Groups for Industry and Trade Sector" in 2020’s the Final Round was held in Hanoi on December 21, 2020, with the participation of 12 Groups with the highest scores. PetroVietnam Gas Ca Mau Company excellently won the Third Prize.

Petrovietnam Gas Joint Stock Corporation (PV GAS) on December 18 organised the 2020 Employee Conference with the attendances of more than 260 delegates representing more than 3,000 employees in the entire corporation.

Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union Central Committee has recently organised a Ceremony to commend the National "Creative Youth" in 2020 in Hanoi. Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Vietnam Oil and Gas Group had six works, initiatives and creative solutions praised; among them, three works from PV GAS Youth Union.

Petrovietnam Gas Joint Stock Corporation (PV GAS)’s Public Art Show was organized on December 12-13. Highly appreciated for the quality and effectiveness of propaganda, the show was an artistic gift which the units dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the Corporation’s establishment, celebrating the achievements in 2020.
