In September, Petrovietnam Gas Joint Stock Corporation (PV GAS) celebrates the anniversary of establishment in middle of autumn, looking forward to the memorable ceremony of the country and the Oil and Gas Industry. The 31st anniversary of PV GAS this year was organized in a rather special context of the whole country’s fight against "Covid enemy", and gradually recovering and developing economy. At the time of the "fire proving gold", looking back at the proud development history, the whole PV GAS is more determined, united, and striving; promotes the tradition of corporate culture, and confidently steps on new paths.

To celebrate the 31st anniversary of the establishment of Petrovietnam Gas Joint Stock Corporation (PV GAS) (September 20, 1990 - September 20, 2021), PV GAS Trade Union of Executive Office has launched a writing contest with theme "PV GAS - My love".

To effectively and practically celebrate the 31st anniversary of Petrovietnam Gas Joint Stock Corporation (PV GAS) (September 20, 1990 - September 20, 2021), especially in the context of the Covid-19 pandemic’s complex evolution, its Trade Union and Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union have launched an emulation movement that has appealed to its employees to ensure safety, quality and schedules in maintenance and repair of Cuu Long and PM3 Ca Mau gas systems in 2021.

To celebrate the 31st anniversary of the establishment of Petrovietnam Gas Joint Stock Corporation (PV GAS), to create an exciting atmosphere and to strive to successfully finish the 2021 plan, Nam Con Son Gas Pipeline Company (NCSP) has completed turnaround maintenance (TAR) of the entire Nam Con Son 1 gas system, including Nam Con Son Gas Processing Plant and valve stations. The all assigned tasks in TAR 2021 have been completed 1.5 days ahead of schedule.

During Nam Con Son 1 gas pipeline system stopping the gas supply for major maintenance and repair in 2021, PetroVietnam Gas South East Transmission Company (PV GAS SE) has collaborated with relevant units to complete all 27 assigned tasks 36 hours ahead of schedule, ensuring to achieve the goal of "Safety - Efficiency - Progress".

PV GAS Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union is organizing a dance sport competition entitled “PV GAS Child Warriors’ Dance to Defeat Covid-19” as a part of its children care programme in this year to create a chance to improve health for the latter in summer. The competition also aims to make children joyful and healthy. Through it, PV GAS youth expects Covid-19 pandemic to be contained. The competition is regarded as a “beautiful flower bouquet” of PV GAS youth sent to celebrate the anniversary of PV GAS establishment and the Oil and Gas Industry’s 2021 Culture Week.
 

The major shareholder Tokyo Gas Asia Pte. Ltd (Tokyo Gas Asia) in July bought 70,000 more shares of PetroVietnam Low Pressure Gas Distribution JSC (PV Gas D with the stock code of PGD) to raise the ownership of the 24.9 per cent stake to the 24.978 per cent stake in the latter. 

With the spirit of mutual affection and love, and the responsibility for community, Petrovietnam Gas Joint Stock Corporation (PV GAS) has actively joined the Covid-19 prevention and control with the Government and people throughout the country. Since Covid-19 pandemic broke out in last year early, PV GAS has donated VND173 billion to the national Covid-19 Vaccine Fund, hospitals, Covid-19 prevention and control programmes in many localities throughout the country.

The PetroVietnam Gas Trading Company (PVGas Trading)- the member of Petrovietnam Gas Joint Stock Corporation (PV GAS)- on July 12 received successfully the first refrigerated LPG ship to floating refrigerated LPG storage vessels at the Hai Ha anchorage area’s site No.o2 in Thai Binh Province’s Die Dien town. 

From 0 AM on July 9, HCM City began social distancing under the Government’s Directive No.16. Moreover, provinces in the country have promptly tightened preventive measures against Covid-19 which has widely ever spread throughout the country.
