In October 2023, Petrovietnam Gas Corporation (PV GAS) will inaugurate and put Thi Vai LNG Terminal into operation. This is Vietnam's first and largest LNG complex, with an average throughput capacity of 1 million tons per annum (MTPA), and a maximum one of up to 1.5 MTPA in phase 1.

Recently, Mr. Pham Van Phong – PV GAS President & CEO, chaired a working session between the leadership of PV GAS and CNG Viet Nam to discuss the unit’s performance in the first 9 months of 2023, as well as the directions for the remaining three.

Right on Petrovietnam Gas Corporation - PV GAS’ date of establishment (20/9/1990 – 20/9/2023), the anniversary celebration was held. A new promising chapter “Green Energy Journey” has been envisioned.

PV GAS Trading has always been dedicating themselves day and night to diligently handle the delivery of each LPG vessel and lorry, ensuring the stable distribution of LPG throughout the national market. Ultimately, September 17, 2023 marked a significant milestone of PV GAS Trading: the company had accomplished its business production plan for 2023.

PV GAS’ President and CEO, Mr. Pham Van Phong, recently chaired a working session with PV GAS Ca Mau Company (KCM) regarding its 8-month performance as well as directions for the last 4 months of 2023.

GRECO 2023 is organized within the framework of the 4th Ho Chi Minh City Economic Forum in 2023, and with the participation of approximately 100 leading domestic and international enterprises. The event spans over 5 days, from September 13th to September 17th, 2023, in the Nguyen Hue Walking Street, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City. The opening ceremony was held at the City Theater Square, and garnered significant attention and attendance from leaders of the Party and Government, representatives of central ministries and sectors of Ho Chi Minh City and southern provinces, as well as those of domestic and international businesses.

Starting from September 13th to September 17th, 2023, PV GAS will be part of the Green Growth Show 2023 (GRECO 2023) themed: "Green Growth – the Journey Towards Net Zero Emissions”, taking place on Nguyen Hue Walking Street, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City. There will be around 100 domestic and international enterprises participating, specialized in several sectors such as energy, agriculture and retails but all towards Vietnam’s “green shift”.

From August 17th to August 26th, 2023, PV GAS Ca Mau Company (KCM), in collaboration with PV GAS Services Company (DVK), carried out the operations and maintenance (O&M) work for PM3 Ca Mau Pipeline and Ca Mau Gas Processing Plant (GPP). Both companies had prepared meticulously and coordinated smoothly to monitor the work at the construction sites, with absolute security and safety, ultimately achieving optimal results.

On August 31, 2023, Mr. Pham Van Phong, PV GAS’ President & CEO had a meeting with the delegation from Sumitomo Corporation (Japan), led by Mr. Fujioka Hiroyuki, General Manager of Power Infrastructure Business Department No.3.

In the first 8 months of 2023, PV GAS Trading Company, a unit of PV GAS, achieved impressive business results in terms of business volume and revenue.

Aiming at the efficiency of Dung Quat LPG Storage’s infrastructure, on August 24, 2023, PV GAS LPG and PV GAS Vung Tau Processing Company (KVT) concluded a cooperation agreement on the construction of Quang Ngai LPG Filling Station.
