In the afternoon on July 01^st, 2014, in Ho Chi Minh City, the signing ceremony of the credit facility agreement to finance “Nam Con Son 2 Gas Pipeline - Phase 1” Project was held between PetroVietnam Gas Joint Stock Corporation and a syndicate of foreign banks led by Cathay United Bank as the capital financing coordinator.

In welcoming Vietnam Family Day, Action Month for Children – Welcoming Summer 2014, and toward the anniversaries of the nation and Petroleum industry, the Committee for the Advancement of Women (CFTAW), Labor Union and Women Labor Union of PetroVietnam Gas Joint Stock Corporation cooperated and organized “Happy Family” Contest on June 27^th, 2014 in HCMC.

From June 16^th through June 19^th, 2014, at “Crocus Expo” Exhibition Center, Moscow capital, Russia Federation, the 21^st World Petroleum Congress (WPC 21) and Exhibition were held. This Exhibition was attended by more than 4,000 delegates from over 80 countries, of which there were 30 ministers and 400 CEOs and heads of organizations, who came to participate in the discussion on the topic “Responsibly energizing a growing world”.

To evaluate cooperative activities between Ca Mau Gas Company - a subsidiary of PV GAS and border guards in the provinces with gas projects, on June 06^th, 2014, Ca Mau Gas Company (KCM) held a Conference summarizing 5-year implementation of executing the collaboration regulations on the protection of oil and gas security, safety and seas security between PetroVietnam Gas Joint Stock Company (PV GAS) and Border Guard Command for 6 provinces in the South West region.

The Summary Meeting for 5 years of implementing and signing the Collaboration regulations on the protection of gas works security, safety and national sovereignty and border security recently took place in Vung Tau among 5 units: PetroVietnam Gas Joint Stock Corporation (PV Gas), Vietsovpetro Joint Venture (VSP), PetroVietnam Exploration Production Corporation (PVEP), PetroVietnam Technical Services Corporation (PTSC) and Ba Ria - Vung Tau Province Border Guard Headquarters (BG).

The annual June 5th is selected as World Environment Day by United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP). This is an important annual international environmental event in which Vietnam has participated since 1982. This becomes a particular activity that practically contributes to raising the public awareness of environmental protection and sustainable development. Up to present, World Environment Day is the biggest annual environmental event in the world that attracts the human to participate.

Forbes Vietnam has released the list of best 50 Vietnamese listed companies in the stock market, including the subsidiaries of Vietnam National Oil and Gas Group (PVN).

Implementing the guidance of Vietnam National Oil and Gas Group and PetroVietnam’s Trade Union, on May 16^th, 2014, PetroVietnam Gas Joint Stock Corporation has launched activities on raising funds to support Vietnam Coast Guard and Vietnam Fisheries Resources Surveillance forces - the pioneers on duties of around-the-clock protection of our counrty’s territorial waters and sovereignty, helping the Vietnam petroleum industry fulfill its missions in petroleum search, exploration and production.

In 2014, PV GAS Youth Union has been honored to receive the recogniztion of Central Business Division Youth Union for the three youth union works at Division Youth Union level, concluding: Upgrade of Dao Su Tich road at Phuoc Kien Commune, Nha Be District where PV GAS’ head office is stationed; detailed design of drawings - NCS-GPP Dinh Co supplementary wet gas supply project carried out by PV Gas Project Management Company Youth Union grassroots; recalculation of maximum permitted free span length for PM3 - Ca Mau works according to DNV RP F105 carried out by the members of Ca Mau Gas Company Branch of Youth Union.

In the afternoon of 09/5/2014, at the headquarter of Vietnam National Oil and Gas Group, the signing ceremony for the offshore pipeline EPC contract under Nam Con Son 2 Gas Pipeline Project – Phase 1 between PetroVietnam Gas Joint Stock Corporation (PV GAS) and Joint Venture “Vietsovpetro” (VSP) and the EpCI framework agreement under Dai Hung Gas Gathering Project between PetroVietnam Exploration Production Corporation (PVEP) and VSP took place.
