PetroVietnam Gas South East Transmission Company (PV GAS SE) on June 3 co-operated with polices in the southern province of Ba Ria-Vung Tau to organise a response drill for fire fighting and rescue, and oil and chemical spills at the Bach Ho oilfield’s corridor of gas pipeline.

Petrovietnam Gas Joint Stock Corporation (PV GAS) has recently organised a meeting to review its production and trade in this year’s first five months. PV GAS’ General Director Duong Manh Son has chaired the meeting.

Forbes Viet Nam Magazine has announced a list of 50 best-listed companies on the Vietnamese stock market in 2020. This was the eighth year Forbes to announce this list in Viet Nam and it also was the eighth consecutive year Petrovietnam Gas Joint Stock Corporation (PV GAS) recognised in the list.

To assess and record achieved results and set out directions and activities in 2020 for the Network to Supervise the Safety and Labour Hygiene at The Workplace, PetroVietnam Gas South East Transmission Company (PV GAS SE)’s executive board of Trade Union on May 29 co-operated with the company’s Environmental Safety Division to organise a conference to review activities of safety and labour hygiene in 2019 and set out tasks in 2020. 

PetroVietnam Gas South East Transmission Company (PV GAS SE) presented 207 book vouchers to its staff’ children to express its care on the occasion of International Children’s Day on June 1. Moreover, the PV GAS SE presented gifts to orphan and disadvantaged children raised at Hong Quang Pagoda’s shelter in Phu My Town’s Tan Hoa Commune in Ba Ria-Vung Tau Province.

On the occasion of International Children’s Day on June 1, Petrovietnam Gas Joint Stock Corporation (PV GAS)’s Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union organised Humanity Blood Donation Day entitled “Beautiful Action for Community” in HCM City. On the Day, the PV GAS’s union co-operated with the one of Ton Duc Thang University to call on donation for a programme entitled “Sua Hong Trao Em” (Milk for Children).

PetroVietnam Gas Vungtau Processing Company (PV GAS VT) on May 22 co-operated with the port management authorities to organise an assessment meeting and an annual response drill for problems relating to port security and oil spills in 2020.  

In spite of many difficulties in this year’s the first quarter, PetroVietnam Gas Corporation - JSC (PV GAS) has taken efforts to overcome the difficulties and to achieve the quarter’s goals which Vietnam Oil and Gas Group (PVN) had assigned. PV GAS surpassed production and financial targets 7-31 per cent and 14-59 per cent representatively.  

PetroVietnam Gas Joint Stock Corporation - (PV GAS) recently reports to the State Securities Commission (SSC) and Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange (HOSE) and publicly announces the extension of the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders in 2020 of  PV GAS.

Under Directive 13 / CT-TTg dated 11/3/2020 of the Prime Minister on continuing to step ups efforts to prevent Covid-19 in new circumstance, and in response to the movement of nationally fighting with the Covid-19 pandemic, launched by the Vietnamese Fatherland Front, on behalf of PetroVietnam Gas Joint Stock Corporation (PV GAS), Vung Tau Gas Processing Company (KVT) raised a fund for the local epidemic prevention program.

Petrovietnam Gas Joint Stock Corporation (PV GAS) and its units have carried out many preventive measures in a prompt and active manner to fight against COVID-19. They also have donated for fundraising programmes of many provinces to ensure safety and security for gas works.

PV GAS’s leaders have decided to take VND600 million from its staff’s donation to present to provinces where PV GAS’s main gas works locate.

Complying with Vietnam Oil and Gas Group (PETROVIETNAM)’s policies and carrying out the Plan of Production and Trades of 2020 successfully, Petrovietnam Gas Joint Stock Corporation (PV GAS) has implemented an Anti-waste and Saving Programme in this year, which includes many drastic and practical actions.
