PV GAS SE takes care of its staff’s children on the occasion of International Children’s Day on June 1
PetroVietnam Gas South East Transmission Company (PV GAS SE) presented 207 book vouchers to its staff’ children to express its care on the occasion of International Children’s Day on June 1. Moreover, the PV GAS SE presented gifts to orphan and disadvantaged children raised at Hong Quang Pagoda’s shelter in Phu My Town’s Tan Hoa Commune in Ba Ria-Vung Tau Province.
The shelter has been set up for last 20 years to raise and take care of nearly 100 of disadvantaged people, orphan ones and those with disabilities, including 50 children.
Understanding thoroughly and sharing with difficulties of children in the shelter, PV GAS SE’s Trade Union, Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, and the staff of the company’s operation workshop on May 31 visited the shelter, with the expectation of bringing a happy International Children’s Day and loves for children there. Besides candies, cakes, and balloons to make them joyful in the International Children’s Day, the PV GAS SE’s team also presented rice and nearly 200 cartons of instant noodle, canned meats and fishes.
Experiencing one day at the shelter of children less fortunate in life and coming back from it, PV GAS SE’s staff had many feelings including joys for sharing difficulties with children and expectations of contributing to the development of lives for people in localities where gas works locate and gas pipelines go through.
