Petrovietnam Gas Joint Stock Corporation (PV GAS) will face many difficulties and challenges in this year and next years. To overcome these difficulties, turn these challenges into opportunities and successfully gain the goals of its producing  and trading plans, PV GAS’s Executive Board of Trade Union, Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union and Veterans Association have launched emulation movement with the main contents as below:

On the 28^th October 2019, Within the framework of the groundbreaking ceremony to construct the project of LNG Storage with the capacity of 1 million tons at Thi Vai commune, Ba Ria – Vung Tau province, Petrovietnam Gas Corporation (PV GAS) organized to sign the credit fund for the project between PV GAS and prestigious banks in and outside nation.

On the 10^th October 2019, at Hai Phong City, Petrovietnam Gas Corporation organized the signing ceremony of key contracts regarding to the revised Nam Con Son 2 Gas Pipeline Project and Sao Vang – Dai Nguyet Gas Pipeline Project.

On the 8th August, 2019 at Petrovietnam Gas Corporation’s office (PV GAS) had took place a Signing Ceremony the Contract of “Design, supply commodities and construct onshore pipeline & stations (EPC onshore pipeline & stations)” that belongs to Revised Nam Con Son 2 Project (Revised NCS2) between PV GAS represented by Petrovietnam South – East Gas Project Management Board (PVGAS SEG) and the List of Bidders VIETSOVPETRO – LILAMA – NAGECCO.

On 15 August 2018, Nikkei Asian Review – the leading media in Japan, has announced the list of Nikkei Asia 300 Companies in which PV GAS is named as one of the 5 Vietnamese companies in the honorable list.

On June 24, the signing ceremony of Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) Contract of Thi Vai LNG Terminal Project took place between PVGAS and the Joint Venture of Samsung C&T and PTSC, along with the signing of The LNG supply and consumption contract for Nhon Trach 3 &4 Power Plants between PVGAS and PV Power.

Forbes Vietnam has announced Vietnam’s 50 top listed companies in 2019. This is the 7^th time in a row PV GAS made it in Forbes 50 top listed companies.

PV GAS has organized many practical activities to respond to Workers' Month and Action Month on Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) of 2019.

In his visit to Hanoi on 12 November 2017, the US President Donald Trump witnessed the Signing Ceremony of the Memorandums of Understanding between PetroVietnam Gas JSC (PV GAS) and the US partners namely the AES Corporation (AES) and the Alaska Gasline Development Corporation (AGDC).
