PV GAS organized the signing ceremony of credit fund for the Thi Vai LNG Storage Project
On the 28th October 2019, Within the framework of the groundbreaking ceremony to construct the project of LNG Storage with the capacity of 1 million tons at Thi Vai commune, Ba Ria – Vung Tau province, Petrovietnam Gas Corporation (PV GAS) organized to sign the credit fund for the project between PV GAS and prestigious banks in and outside nation.
The construction & investment project of Thi Vai LNG Storage with the capacity of 1 million tons that PVN assigned to PV GAS as the Owner, has the general investment value approved about 300 million USD, in that the rate between capital loan and self - capital is 70%/30%.
PV GAS has managed the source of capital loan for the project with prestigious banks in and outside nation. On the side of foreign currency, the value of loan is 80 million USD coming from international banks of HSBC, Mega, taipei Fubon; On the side of national currency, the value of loan is 2.100 billion Vietnamese Dong coming from the national banks of SeaBank, Eximbank.
Through this signing of credit fund, the parties have came into unity to cooperate, ensure the most condition and support to the PV GAS’s project that will be paid on time and executed smoothly and effectively. Besides, the signing with prestigious banks as HSBC – Mega Bank – Taipei Fubon and the national prestigious banks has also raised up image and position of PV GAS on the national financial market as well as on the world, thereby to make condition so that PV GAS could approach to diversified capital resource for the other projects in the future.
At the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Binh – PV GAS’s Deputy General Director, has been PV GAS’s representative to sign the credit fund with the banks’ representatives: Mr. Le Quoc Long – SeABank’s Deputy General Permanant Director; Mr. Tran Tan Loc – Eximbank’s Deputy General Permanant Director ; Mrs. Stephanie Betant – Vietnam HSBC’s Deputy General Director, who has been in charge of enterprise’s finance; Mrs. Kitty Huang – Taipei Fubon Bank’s General Director – HCM’s branch, and to hold concurrently the position of Vietnam Taipei Fubon Bank’s Director; Mr. Richard Huang – Mega Bank’s Deputy General Director – HCM’s branch.
The signing ceremony has been happened before the witness of leaders and delegates in the joyful air and overwelming trust of the groundbreaking ceremony to construct the work of national scale, that is to mark a new step for the development of Vietnamese Gas Industrial Profession.
