Following the direction of the Vietnam Oil and Gas Group’s Trade Union and practically welcoming the all-level trade union congresses in the 2023 – 2028 tenure, the Petrovietnam Gas Joint Stock Corporation’s Trade Union instructs its affiliated grassroots trade unions to strengthen the Program of "1 million of initiatives - efforts to overcome difficulties, be creative, and determined to win the Covid-19 pandemic"("1 million of initiatives" Program) organized by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor.

As a part of the activities organization plan to welcome all-level trade union congresses and the Corporation’s 4th Trade Union Congress in the 2023 – 2028 tenure, the Trade Union of Petrovietnam Gas Joint Stock Corporation has planned to hold the PV GAS Mass Art Performance Festival in 2023.

Deputy General Director Pham Van Phong, representative of Petrovietnam Gas Joint Stock Corporation (PV GAS) on February 15 met the delegation of the Japan Cooperation Center for Petroleum and Sustainable Energy (JCCP) and Japan’s Hagio Company at the PV GAS headquarters in Ho Chi Minh City.

Basing on working requirements and cadre affairs, PV GAS on February 15 held a ceremony to announce and hand over the decision to the leaders of its units.

According to statistics of SSI Securities, as of the beginning of February, there were 1,029 enterprises reporting their earnings in the last quarter of 2022, accounting for only 64% of enterprises on the Vietnam’s stock market (including HOSE, HNX and UPCoM) but holding 97% of the market capitalization. The 1,029 enterprise’s revenue in the fourth quarter of 2022 totaled VND100,000 trillion, an increase of 6.5% over the same period of 2021.

2023 is a year of special significance for Vietnam Trade Union, the year of holding trade union congresses at all levels in the 2023-2028 tenure; and practically celebrate the great national holidays. The Trade Union of Petrovietnam Gas Joint Stock Corporation (PV GAS) has issued a plan to organize the emulation movement of "Innovation, efforts to make determination, labor productivity improvement, life and employment stabilization for its staff, and welcome to the trade union congresses at all levels".

On the afternoon of February 8, CEO of the Vietnam Oil and Gas Group (Petrovietnam) Le Manh Hung and the delegation met Petrovietnam Gas Joint Stock Corporation (PV GAS) to deploy the 2023 plan. The hybrid meeting was held at PV GAS headquarters in Ho Chi Minh City.

To meet the increasing growth needs of Petrovietnam Gas Joint Stock Corporation (PV GAS) in Ba Ria - Vung Tau Province, the Board of Directors at PV GAS and the Vung Tau city People's Committee have approved the implementation of the Archive, Library, Office and Ancillary Works Construction Project at PV GAS headquarters - 101 Le Loi, Vung Tau city. Recently, Petrovietnam Gas Vungtau Processing Company has hosted the project’s Groundbreaking Ceremony.

After the Lunar New Year holiday, the whole Petrovietnam Gas Joint Stock Corporation on January 27 (sixth lunar day) returned to work in the first day of the Year of the Cat with discipline and high responsibility.

With the spirit of mutual affection, sharing difficulties with the community, especially poor students and state policy-benefited families, PV GAS Youth Union has carried out many social welfare activities in localities where PV GAS buildings and headquarters are located, contributing to bringing a warm Spring to each needy family.
