PV GAS BEGINS DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION STRATEGY AND ERP SOFTWARE IMPLEMENTATION CONSULTANCY PROJECTS
Petrovietnam Gas Joint Stock Corporation (PV Gas) and its partner EY on August 3 kicked off "Digital Transformation Strategy Consulting" and "ERP Software Implementation Consulting" projects.
Along with the trend of Digital Transformation and the application of the 4.0 industrial revolution’s technologies, PV GAS has applied technological solutions in production and business with the goal of increasing efficiency, digitizing business processes, enhancing transparency as well as the ability to risk control. The Board of Directors at the Corporation determines that it is necessary to accelerate the Digital Transformation and ERP to develop production and business amid the volatile market.
After the studying process, writing a careful consulting outline, in line with production and business at PV GAS; along with the objective, fair and transparent contractor selection process, PV GAS had selected and signed a contract with the contractor consortium Ernst & Young (EY) Vietnam to get consultancy on the Digital Transformation strategy and the implementation of ERP software for PV GAS. With the simultaneous implementation of two consulting projects, PV GAS wanted to select digital technology groups matching the Corporation's scale and business strategy in the upcoming time; At the same time, to ensure the implementation of the ERP system in line with the specific industry, compatible with the ERP system of the Vietnam Oil and Gas Group and the Smart Factory orientation.
Speaking at the meeting, PV GAS CEO Hoang Van Quang emphasized the important role of the two projects in the Corporation's production and business in the upcoming time, and pledged that PV GAS would actively coordinate and create all necessary conditions for the projects to achieve the best outcomes. Because the two projects are carried out at the same time, Mr. Hoang Van Quang also asked EY partner to ensure the quality and sufficient number of its employees to carry out the projects effectively, on schedule, and to meet the set requirements.
PV GAS CEO believed that with the experience and qualification of the EY partner in the Digital Transformation and ERP consulting field, as well as the close cooperation with PV GAS, the project would achieve the set goals.
