PV GAS’ General Director checks and reviews the construction progress of Nam Con Son 2 Project’s the second phase
PV GAS General Director Duong Manh Son on September 27 led the inspection team to check the construction sites of Nam Con Son 2 project’s the second phase.
The team checked the construction sites of the pipeline 30”. These areas have complex terrain, causing many difficulties for the project involved parties, from preparation to the actual execution of the construction. The team also checked the construction and tested the operation of sea pipeline at the Long Hai station.
At the meeting, the South East Gas Project Management Board and EPC-3 General Contractor Joint Venture reported to PV GAS 'General Director for the project’s implementation, and difficulties/problems. General Director Duong Manh Son acknowledged the project’s achievements, the efforts to overcome difficulties during the construction process of the Southeast Gas Project Management Board’s staff, and the timely support of the PV GAS’ Boards/Units and contractors. Mr. Duong Manh Son requested all involved parties to make more efforts and drastically carry out the rest of the pipeline 26 " including the project’s offshore and onshore parts with the goal of completing it, ready to receive Sao Vang - Dai Nguyet gas on schedule; while they continue speeding up the construction of the pipeline 30 " to ensure completion in December 2020.
In the Project’s the final stage, PV GAS General Director once again emphasized the importance of the Nam Con Son 2 Project Chain that has a great impact on PV GAS 'business results in this year. Therefore, the General Director required the South East Gas Project Management Board and contractors to pay special attention to safety during construction, as well as to address more drastic solutions to deliver materials and equipment on time and deploy construction and installation, and pre-commissioning for the sea pipeline 26” to be completed as the schedule; to Gather all resources, to prepare contingency plans, to find all necessary solutions to immediately carry out in the case of the materials and equipment which continue being handed over slowly compared to the expected plan due to the influences caused by COVID- 19.
