PVN and PV GAS donate to build Da Phuc Community Cultural House in Tan Tien Commune of Hung Yen Province’s Van Giang District
Implementing their social welfare program, Leaders of Vietnam Oil and Gas Group (PVN) and Petrovietnam Gas Joint Stock Corporation (PV GAS) on October 3 co-operated with the Tan Tien Commune’s Government and People in Hung Yen Province’s Van Giang District to organise the opening and handover ceremony to put the Community Cultural House into use in Da Phuc hamlet. The House was funded by PVGAS.
Comrade Le Manh Hung - PVN's General Director and Comrade Do Chi Thanh - Deputy General Director of PVN were on behalf of PVN to take part in the Ceremony while PV GAS’ representatives were Comrade Duong Manh Son –General Director and Comrade Hoang Van Quang – Deputy General Director.
The local Government’s representatives were Comrade Chu Van Muoi - Chief of the Office of the People's Council, the People's Committee of Van Giang District, and Secretary of the Party Committee of Tan Tien Commune; Comrade Hoang Trong Phan - Chairman of the Commune; and Mrs. Hoang Thi Phuong - Hero of the People's Armed Forces.
PV GAS donated VND4 billion to build the Community Cultural House under its social welfare program and PVN’s one. The main work is a 2-storey cultural building block covering 347 square metres. The House has the auxiliary ones such as yard, fence, gate, ... The Cultural House is equipped with the basic equipment to meet the local people’s needs of spot and space for community and entertainment activities.
At the opening ceremony of the House, Comrade Duong Manh Son - General Director of PV GAS spoke and shared joys with the Hung Yen Province’s People: “Over the past years, for Hung Yen province, PVN and PV GAS always have had a special affection and paid attention to strengthen the cooperation and sponsorship for many programs which have contributed to the local socio-economic development. They also have expected to contribute to partially addressing difficulties to build more works for the community and to make the Hung Yen Province more beautiful. Therefore, PV GAS in this time was honorable to donate to build the Da Phuc Community Cultural House. We believed that this spacious and culturally cohesive work would make a practical contribution to the local development, helping People have one more venue to organise meaningful events which would make lives happily and unitedly, educate the young generation, and tighten solidarity among the People ”.
