Program to help poor pupils of PV Gas’s Youth Union in 2013

Continuing the program of "Action for children in difficult circumstances", especially to support, encourage and partly share difficulties with poor pupils, on August, 17, 2013, the Department of Social Work – Teenagers and Children PV Gas’s Youth Union has organized a trip to remote areas close to the border of Ninh Dien commune, Chau Thanh district, Tay Ninh province for the purpose of helping poor pupils to continue their studies. Joining the trip were members of the PV Gas’s Executive body’s Youth Unions of grassroots level, PetroVietnam Low Pressure Gas Distribution JSC., PetroVietnam Southern Gas JSC., PV Gas PMB.

The delegation has granted 50 scholarships and 200 gift sets, each gift set includes 1 set of textbooks and 10 white notebooks for poor pupils in difficult circumstances. The total value of all contributions to the program at offices in HCM City is 55 million dongs, donated by employees of PV Gas and in part by the Fund for younger generations in 2013 of the corporation.
Each year, PV Gas’s Youth Union calls for donations and support of the Youth Union’s members and the corporation’s staff in cash and in kind, to help pupils in difficult circumstances but still making efforts to achieve excellent results in study.                           
In 2013, PV Gas’s Youth Union’s members and staff have donated nearly 100 million dongs and kind including books and school supplies to help poor pupils in regions where locate gas production and business facilities, gas projects of the corporation such as Vung Tau, Tay Ninh, Ca Mau, Ha Noi.
