Celebrating the 30th anniversary of the establishment of Petrovietnam Gas Joint Stock Corporation (PV GAS) (September 20 in 1990 - September 20 in 2020), the Corporation has held an anniversary ceremony to celebrate a new age in the beautiful autumn, towards the memorable days of the Country and the Gas and Oil Industry.

Bringing into play national tradition of “drinking the water, remembering its source” and “rendering thanks and gratitude,” Petrovietnam Gas Joint Stock Corporation (PV GAS) is one of enterprises which always respect and actively carry out many activities to commemorate martyrs and invalids on the occasion of Vietnamese War Invalids and Martyrs’ Day which falls on July 27.

Petrovietnam Gas Joint Stock Corporation (PV GAS) on July 1 organised a conference on reviewing business in this year’s first six months and carrying out the plan in the remaining six months. The conference was broadcasted live in Ha Noi, Ba Ria-Vung Tau, Ca Mau and Hai Phong.

Petrovietnam Gas Joint Stock Corporation (PV GAS) on June 26 organised an annual conference on safety-health-environment to evaluate results, shortcomings and experiences in the implementation in 2019 and the year’s first quarter, and to set out tasks and targets for these activities in the upcoming time.

Despite disadvantaged conditions especially influences caused by COVID-19 and social distance in the year’s first six months, the Party’s standing committee and executive board of the Party Committee at Petrovietnam Gas Joint Stock Corporation (PV GAS) carried forward their core role to complete the Corporation’s politic tasks excellently.

Basing on working requirements and cadre affairs, Petrovietnam Gas Joint Stock Corporation (PV GAS) approved to appoint Mrs Tran Thi Kim Lien, who obtained a Master of Laws, as Head of the Corporation’s Legal Department. PV GAS on June 24 organised a Ceremony to announce and hand over its Board of Directors’ decision on this appointment.

Petrovietnam Gas Joint Stock Corporation (PV GAS) has co-operated with authorities and people of Thanh Chuong District in Nghe An Province to organise a ceremony to hand over one secondary school which PV GAS donated in the district’s Thanh Tung Commune.  

After the time of construction, Vietnam Oil and Gas Group (PVN), Petrovietnam Gas Joint Stock Corporation (PV GAS), authorities and people of Dai Tu District in the northern province of Thai Nguyen have organised a ceremony to hand over one kindergarten which PV GAS donated in Tien Hoi Commune.

Volleyball Federation of Vietnam on June 13 co-operated with Petrovietnam Gas Joint Stock Corporation (PV GAS), Bac Ninh Province’s Department of Culture and Sports to organise an Opening Ceremony of the 2020 PV Gas National Volleyball League. 

To carry out a corporate social responsibility of Vietnam Oil and Gas Group, Petrovietnam Gas Joint Stock Corporation (PV GAS), authorities and people of Tho Xuan District’s Tho Hai Commune in the northern province of Thanh Hoa have organised a ceremony to put the Tho Hai Commune’s Health Station into use.

To carry out a social welfare programme in 2020 of Vietnam Oil and Gas Group (PETROVIETNAM), Petrovietnam Gas Joint Stock Corporation (PV GAS) has donated VND3 billion to Ha Noi Medical University Hospital to buy necessary medical equipment to serve health examination and treatment for people in the country.
