Petrovietnam Gas Joint Stock Corporation (PV GAS) is going to conclude 2025 with impressive business results while setting ambitious goals for 2026 and the 2026–2030 period.
 

Recently, Petrovietnam Gas Joint Stock Corporation (PV GAS) was honored by the Vietnam Records Organization (VietKings) with three Vietnam Records, recognizing landmark projects that bear a pioneering imprint in the exploitation, operation, and processing of natural gas. These achievements further affirm PV GAS’s leading position in the gas and energy sector, making significant contributions to national energy security and playing a guiding role in the country’s green transition pathway.

In face of ongoing volatility in the energy market and increasing pressure to meet business targets in the final months of the year, Petrovietnam Gas Joint Stock Corporation (PV GAS) has issued a Directive on “Promoting business operations and accelerating progress, to complete and even surpass all targets for 2025.”

On June 11 in Ho Chi Minh City, PV GAS Youth Union hosted the “PV GAS Talks” dialogue.
 

Petrovietnam Gas Corporation (PV GAS) recently organized its 2025 Safety – Health – Environment (SHE) Conference to review achievements, shortcomings, and lessons from 2024 while outlining directions and measures for SHE implementation in 2025.
 

On March 26, 2025, at the headquarters of PetroVietnam Gas Corporation (PV GAS), a delegation from Malaysia’s National Oil and Gas Corporation, PETRONAS, led by Mr. Shamsairi M. Ibrahim – Vice President of the Corporation, paid a visit and held discussions with PV GAS. The meeting aimed to explore opportunities for further cooperation under the Memorandum of Cooperation (MoC) signed between Vietnam Oil and Gas Group (Petrovietnam) and PETRONAS. Representing PV GAS at the meeting were Mr. Nguyễn Phúc Tuệ – Vice President of PV GAS, along with representatives from relevant divisions and units.

In United States, Petrovietnam Gas Joint Stock Corporation (PV GAS) just signed and announced important strategic partnership agreements between Vietnamese and U.S. businesses.

In early March 2025, at the headquarter of EVN in Hanoi, Petrovietnam Gas Corporation (PV GAS) and EVN had a meeting to discuss solutions to ensure stable gas and LNG supply for power generation.

Petrovietnam Gas Corporation (PV GAS) and Petrovietnam Power Corporation (PV Power) just signed a contract regarding the supply of LNG for the commercial operations of Nhon Trach 3 and Nhon Trach 4 power plants, making PV GAS the first and only long-term LNG power supplier in Vietnam.

On February 25, PV GAS’ President and CEO, Dr. Pham Van Phong welcomed US Consul General in Ho Chi Minh City – Ms. Susan Burns and her delegation at the Corporation’s head quarter.

A working delegation from Vietnam Oil and Gas Group (Petrovietnam), led by Mr. Le Manh Hung, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the Board of Member of Petrovietnam, had a meeting with Petrovietnam Gas Corporation (PV GAS) at PV GAS Vung Tau Processing Company (PV GAS VUNG TAU). During the meeting, Chairman Le Manh Hung emphasized the urgent task for 2025: accelerating the progress to increase the capacity of the Thi Vai LNG Terminal to 3 MTPA, ensuring sustainable development in the future.

On the occasion of the 2025 Lunar New Year, journalists had an exchange with Mr. Nguyen Thanh Binh, Party Committee Secretary and Chairman of PV GAS’ Board of Directors (BOD), to reflect on the remarkable progress of the Corporation over the past year and discuss its future direction.
