The 2023 PV GAS men's football open tournament successfully wraps up
Success, joys, efforts, determination to win – which were the highest achievements the 2023 PV GAS men's football open tournament "gained" in 3 very sunny days of April, at the football pitch of Ton Duc Thang University in HCM City’s District 7. PV GAS team lifted the precious Champion Trophy; The tournament’s 5 guest teams also received honors for their enthusiastic and effective competitive spirit.
PV GAS Trade Union organized this special and first Tournament to promote the spirit of solidarity, exchange and learning between employees at units of Vietnam Oil and Gas Group (PVN); to create an exciting emulation atmosphere in production and working, to improve cultural and spiritual life to welcome the 4th Trade Union Congress of Petrovietnam Gas Joint Stock Corporation (PV GAS) toward the 7th Trade Union Congress of Vietnam Oil and Gas Group for the 2023 – 2028 tenure. Six teams joining the tournament including: PV GAS, PVFCCo, PVTrans, PTSC, PVOIL, PVD were all "bright spots" to maintain and develop football, including teams with the love of the king sport.
The tournament took place from April 21 to 23, 2023. Through thrilling matches and fierce competition, the 2023 PV GAS men's football open tournament wrapped up successfully with the final between PV GAS and PTSC. Deserving of the top position in the whole Group through many recent tournaments, PV GAS team has many young, talented and enthusiastic players who defeated PTSC 4-0 in the final to excellently win the championship.
The organizers of the 2023 PV GAS men's football open tournament also awarded other titles: The second prize for PTSC; and the joint third prize for two teams of PVD and PCFCCo. Individual awards included: Top goalscorer: Do Thanh Tung - PV GAS, Best goalkeeper: Nguyen Ngoc Quang - PV GAS, and Best football player: Do Nguyen Thanh Trung - PTSC.
Wrapping up the 2023 PV GAS men's football open tournament, PV GAS Trade Union Chairman Tran Xuan Thanh affirmed: "With the noble sportsmanship spirit, honesty and solidarity, the teams provided spectators with attractive matches of high professional quality, dozens of goals and a lot of best kicks. But above all, the tournament promoted the spirit of solidarity, exchange and learning between employees in affiliated units of Vietnam Oil and Gas Group.
