PV GAS Youth Union organizes "From heart to heart" Blood Donation Day

In response to the 13th Petroleum Cultural Week - 2022, the Blood Donation Day with the message of "From heart to heart" was a noble action organized by the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Petrovietnam Gas Joint Stock Corporation (PV Gas) on the morning of August 5 at PV GAS Tower. The Day got 101 blood units from volunteers.

The charity day was organized by PV GAS Youth Union, with core members from the Grassroots-leveled Unions at the Corporation's executive agency and the LNG Business Branch. This was the program which has been held periodically for many years to contribute to saving patients and community’s health. To make the Day more meaningful and successful, the Organizer had called for all employees at PV GAS in Ho Chi Minh City, the counterparts at the Corporation, and other relevant units headquarters in the same building and relevant units as well as organizations since last few days.
National blood banks for curing diseases and saving lives always need donations. Especially the amount of reserved blood had decreased sharply in the long time for the Covid-19 prevention so blood donation from healthy young workforce, who is ready for patients, is needed. On the occasion of the celebration of the 13th Petroleum Culture Week - 2022, the Humanitarian Blood Donation Day of PV GAS Youth Union was the Petroleum Youth’s action to demonstrate its community responsibility and to emphasize PV GAS culture.

On this occasion, PV GAS Youth also launched the charity program titled "Wish for you". This is a very humane program, with the goal of connecting, sharing and spreading love and benevolent values to orphans and disadvantaged families’ children in the locality. The total amount of raised money will be used to buy meaningful gifts which will be given away to the children by the Youth Union’s members, hoping to bring them much joy and happiness in their life.
