2014 Humanitarian blood donation day "Noble gesture for the community"

In order to present and promote the spirit of mutual affection, sharing with the community, noble gesture of officers, Youth Union's members, all employees of PetroVietnam Gas Joint Stock Corporation ( PV GAS) in social activities, Standing Committee of PV GAS Youth Union cooperated with PetroVietnam Engineering Corporation (PVE) Youth Union in organizing "2014 Humanitarian blood donation day - Noble gesture for the community" in the morning of June 13, 2014, with a total of 203 blood units collected (of which PV Gas: 85 blood units, PVE + Oceanbank: 65 blood units, Doan Phuoc Kien Commune + The People's Police University: 41 blood units, other units (Seabank, Southern Bank, Management Board and Security Team of the building…): 12 blood units).

         Humanitarian blood donation day held by PV GAS Youth Union has become traditional activity in recent years, with increasing number of Youth Union members, personnel registering to participate compared to the last year. To have such result, the youth force of PV GAS and PVE has received attention of Leaders and local authorities at all levels; enthusiastic participation of all personnel, Youth Union members of the whole PV GAS, as well as its partners. PV GAS' volunteer day has been organized for many years with determination: Blood donation is noble gesture, at the same time, blood donation complying with instruction is not only unharmful but also good for donors' bodies.
